Teething?

Thursday and Friday night were a little rough. Reagan woke up 3 times during the night, which he hasn't done in quite a while now. Mom said that Friday, he didn't sleep much and he was really fussy, which is something else that is uncharacteristic. He was the same way most of Saturday as well. He's drooling more than normal and chewing on his hands, bib, pacifier, and anything else that he can get in his mouth. Last night, he went to sleep around 10 and didn't wake up until 7:30 this morning. He's been in a much better mood and has slept alot today and seems to be feeling better. It seems a little early for him to be teething already. Most thiings that I have read says babies ususally don't start teething until around 6 months. So, we will keep an eye on him and see what's going on.

Reagan Rolls Over!

Rolling over and going to the park!

The little man sleeping on the couch.
Reagan rolled over for the first time yesterday. I had him upstairs in his crib and he had a bunch of toys around him and he would get up on his side and then he just flipped all the way over. He did it several times and he did it when I put him on his belly in his play yard too. Darrell says he's so grown up now that he will need to get a job.

Today, we went to the park for a picnic for my friend Karla's birthday. It was a little windy out, but a beautiful day after the past couple of days of rain. We took Reagan out with us and he only got a little fussy for after we had been there for quite a while. He took two pretty good naps and he seems pretty worn our right now.
Here's Reagan napping at the park.

Denny's Nanerpuss Commercial

During the Superbowl, there was a Denny's commercial that I found hilarious.

This morning, Darrell made me my very own Nanerpuss.

Happy Easter and Happy Birthday to Darrell

Reagan is starting to hold his bottle on his own. He will do it for a short time and then let it go.
We have both been reading to Reagan. He seems to enjoy it. I'm suprised that we can make it through a book and still keep his attention!

Here's another video from the other day. Darrell and I took Reagan up to his room to play.

Videos!

My camera also shoots videos, but the files were too big to post. Darrell showed me how to convert them to smaller files. Here's Reagan laughing at the table with us.

Yay for the long weekend!

Darrell and I were both off today and Darrell is off on Monday as well for the Easter Holiday. Darrell's birthday is on Sunday....the big 3-5!!

Today, we slept in a little and then did some cleaning and ran some errands. We went to Babysrus for formula and diapers, went to Barnes and Noble and got Reagan some books. (Thanks to Linda and Ross for the giftcard they sent back when Reagan was born!) Then, we went to Target for a bunch of random items.

The rest of the day has been spent just lounging around and playing with Reagan. I really enjoy the time that the three of us get to spend together. We really dont have any definite plans for the rest of the weekend, which is nice. we

Cali was taking a nap with me today. Here she is when I woke her up.

We spent some time in Reagan's room today. It's the only room in the house with carpet in it. He's doing really well holding his head up. I think that he may be getting close to rolling over. He will get roll to one size, but has not managed to flip himself yet. It will probably be a few more weeks until he gets there.

Zooma Half Marathon!!

Just 11 weeks after Reagan was born, I have completed a half marathon! This is my third one and the course was definitely the hardest one. It started at the Hyatt Lost Pines Resort http://lostpines.hyatt.com/hyatt/hotels/index.jsp out in Bastrop and went through some rolling hills through the woods and out to 71. One thing that I did not like about this course was that it was an out and back. We ran out about 6.5 miles and then turned around and came back the same way. The other thing that I didn't like about it was that there were very few spectators on the course. 13.1 miles is a long way to run without people cheering you on. Since most of the course was on two lane back roads in the woods and partially on Highway 71, there was not a safe place for spectators to park or stand. It was a beautiful day to run. It started out cool and overcast and before long, it was sunny, warm , and even a little humid. I got a little sunburned on my face and arms. I felt pretty good the first 8 miles of the run and then my feet started to hurt pretty bad. I got to the point where it hurt more to walk then it did to run because my feet were on the ground less when I was running. It took me 3:23:45 to finish, but I did it. It took me almost an hour longer than it took me to do my other two half marathons, but this course was much more difficult and I had not had a baby 11 weeks before I did the other two and had been training for months. I definitely feel like this is a big accomplishment and I'm glad that I did it. My feet hurt more than anything. I came home and showered and napped and then went to get a pedicure, which felt soooo great. I'm super tired right now and am just ready to crawl into bed.

I've got 3 more races that I have already registered for.
April 25--Texas Round Up 10K
May 3--Schlotzky's Bun Run 5K
May 9--Chuy's Hot To Trot 5K
No more half marathons until next year and I will train much more for the next one than I did for this one. It will make it much easier.

Darrell had Reagan laying on him when I got home today. Look how well he's lifting his head up!
