Bath Time!

Since we brought him home, we have always bathed Reagan in the kitchen sink. We had gotten a really cute little baby bathtub before we had him and we never even used it. As he got a little bigger, we would stand him up in the kitchen sink and give him "showers" with the sprayer. He has always enjoyed bath time. When we were on vacation and stayed out at Lost Pines at the end of October, we put him in the bathtub in the hotel. He just sat there and hung out with no real reaction. The other day, I had picked up a few bath toys and decided that we would put him in the tub this week. Tonight was the big night. We could not have imagined the reaction that we got tonight. He was SO excited and crawled back and forth from one end of the tub to the other and splashed and laughed. We let him play for a good 15 minutes of so in the tub. I think Reagan's bathtimes are about to get much more fun!

10 Months Old!

On Saturday, Darrell and I took Reagan to the park up the street from our house to swing for the first time. He seemed to like it. He also got to crawl around and play in the rocks. (That was a pretty quick event as he was trying to put the rocks in his mouth.) We are so amazed at how quickly he moves around. He is getting braver and braver and will occasionally forget to hold on to things when he is standing up and will all over. He is babbling alot latley and likes to mimic sounds that we make. He is also gotten to where he wants to eat whatever it is that we are eating. As soon as he sees Darrell or I with food, he crawls right over to us, pulls up, and opens his mouth like a little bird. We have been giving him little bits of our food and he really seems to like it. Yesterday, he ate little bits of chicken and mashed potato and tonight, he ate macaroni and cheese. He really seemed to like that and kept coming back fo more. We are pretty sure that he will have another tooth come in very soon due to crazy amounts of drool and constant chewing on his hand that is going on. It's hard to believe that he will be 10 months old on Monday!
