So Farr, So Good

First of all, HOORAY for the rain! It has been raining here for the past couple of days and we have needed it so bad all summer and so glad that we are getting it.

Today has been a good day of hanging out inside, watching college football, and listening to the rain.

We took Reagan to the urologist on Thursday so that the nurse could take the catheter out. They said that he is healing better than they even expected. He hasn't take any pain medication all week and has really been in a great mood. Thursday was the first day that he started eating like he did before he had the surgery. We had them weigh him when we were at the doctor and he had lost about half a pound. They said that was normal because the medications mess with his appetite.

He is just crawling everywhere right now. We are constantly having to watch him to make sure he doesn't grab cords or get into something that he is not supposed to. When Reagan started crawling a couple of weeks ago, I told Darrell that if he wanted to keep his 42" flat panel TV that he better figure out a way to hang it on the wall because it could very easily be pulled or knocked off of the stand that it has been sitting on. He ordered the brackets last weekend and they arrived yesterday and Darrell hung the TV up above the fire place yesterday evening. Here are pictures of Reagan helping him.

We also got Reagan a bigger carseat today. He is too long for his infant carrier now and he and the carrier together are so very heavy for me to carry. The new seat that we got him can be used facing forward or backwards. We will keep him facing backwards until he is around a year old and then we can turn him around. I am really happy about not having to use the very heavy carrier anymore!

Here's a picture of Reagan in his UT orange with one of his very favorite toys, his golf club.
