Half Way!
Friday marked the half way point for Dad's treatment. He said that he has been feeling really "lazy" these past few days. This is the point where the doctors had said he would start to feel the effects of the treatments and they were right on. He seems to be feeling well over all and has not had any of the sick side effects that so many people talk about. He has been walking alot and will get out and walk around the block at least once or twice during the day. Today, he said that he did about 20 minutes on his treadmill. Thanks so much to friends and family who have sent their thoughts and prayers our way!! We hope that the second half of the treatment goes as smoothly as the first.
Yesterday, we took our 2nd annual trip the pumpkin patch at Bethany Lutheran Church, which is not far from the house. It was much more difficult this year to get Reagan to stay still long enough to get many good pictures. Last year, he was crawling and pulling up and this year he was running!
This morning, I got up and ran 11 miles. It was pretty humid out and I didn't really feel like doing it, but I made it through and actually ran faster this week than I did last week. The San Antonio Rock N' Roll Half Marathon is only 3 weeks away! Can hardly wait!

Hi Sarah. I am so sorry about everything with your father. I am thinking of you all. I'm sure you've heard everything by now, but I know that with at least one of the ladies in our lives who had breast cancer, that if he does start getting nauseous, ginger helps a lot. One family member lived on ginger cookies. Just in case. Hopefully you won't have to worry about that. Good luck with everything.
